We have been married for 70 years. We lived in a flat in Brampton but my husband was unable to leave the house very often due to mobility issues, compounded by the fact that our flat was on an incline. This meant we were unable to socialise or get out and about.
Moving here in 2018 helped us massively, we have our independence, a great place to live and the mobility issues are no longer a problem. We have a great time socialising and taking part in activities.
For us, supported housing means we have our own independence but we also have support at hand and we can now socialise and join in activities.
