Chiaira had to leave her mother’s house because it was overcrowded. Also her son needed more space, for him to run around and for him to develop.
After moving into supported accommodation in 2018, she has learned how to be independent for example, how to pay my bills and manage a tenancy.
When asked how supported housing helps? Chiaira said “supported housing means getting the right support for young moms who have never lived alone. And also helping us to more on”.
